Alekhya is a sophomore from Will Rice College double majoring in Health Sciences and Spanish & Portuguese, with a minor in Medical Humanities. She plans on pursuing medical school after graduation. In addition to working on Translational Humanities for Public Health, she conducts research on neurological disorders at the BioScience Research Collaborative and interns at the Houston Aphasia Recovery Center.
