Thomas Picht is a neurosurgeon, Assistant Medical Director, and head of the »Image Guidance Lab« of the Neurosurgery Department at Charité Berlin. He has headed the consortium »Perioperative Early Diagnostics« at the Neurosurgery Department for many years and was significantly involved in the introduction and further development of navigated TMS in preoperative analysis and in the surgical planning process with respect to brain tumour surgery. His has comprehensive clinical experience with problems in image navigation, image fusion, and imaging-based surgical planning. Working together with experts from various backgrounds like Design, Media Theory and Ethnology, his research is practice-oriented with the patient's well-being at the center of all efforts.
